Located within the historic Powell River Townsite fire hall, the Miklat Recovery Arbutus Facility is a 12-bed residential recovery home serving the qathet region. This landmark building has been part of the community for generations, and today it continues its purpose as a place of safety, care, and hope.
The Arbutus facility offers more than accommodation — it provides a foundation for change. Residents are supported in rebuilding their lives, restoring family connections, and rediscovering a sense of purpose in a stable, compassionate environment. Once a place dedicated to emergency response, the Arbutus Fire Hall now carries a new legacy: supporting recovery and strengthening the community through Together We Can’s mission.
